Group Michael is an engaging primitive technology expert and instructor. Michael has lived his life demonstrating his love and respect for the natural world and its wonders. His passion for and wisdom in flint knapping, outdoor survival skills, hide tanning, basket making, and bow and arrow construction equal his love for sharing his knowledge with others.  He skillfully teaches participants how to create tools and materials that are both functional and artistic.

Sample topics for camps are Primitive Beginnings that explore how the ancients would live on a daily basis–from fire building to pottery. One workshop deals with surviving off the land with native foods and shelters. Others will discover how to make long bows or long houses or how to tan deer hides. Just explore the links to a better understanding of the tools of the ancients and the instruction available.
