Camps

Shooting Bows Last year was the 14th year Michael brought his engaging primitive technology programs and camps to the Shenandoah Valley area. Michael has lived his life demonstrating his love and respect for the natural world and its wonders. His passion for and wisdom in flintknapping, outdoor survival skills, hide tanning, basket making, and bow and arrow construction equals his love for sharing his knowledge with others.

I learned how to make a fire, shoot a bow & arrow, and cook venison. I really enjoyed the neat plants and making tools. I will always remember kayaking & canoeing. I also liked waking up in the morning & seeing the fog on the river. I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful time.”
