Primitive Beginnings
The discovery of a simpler way of life through hands-on activities makes this the perfect start for young Daniel Boones. Participants will learn about friction fires, bark baskets, stone tools and making pottery. They will be quite pleased with themselves when they actually create a piece of pottery, an arrowhead, or a bark basket to take home. They will practice archery (with bows made by the instructor), and fishing and tracking.
